If you currently get less than 2mbs download speed and there are no viable providers offering a better service in your area you may qualify for a connection voucher that could reduce your install cost.
If you think you may qualify and would like to know more, please email as at email@example.com or call us on 0330 113 1949 and we will be happy to help. Alternatively, follow the steps below to check for your self and claim your voucher code.
1. Check if you Eligible for a subsidised rural broadband.
Subsidised installs are only available under a strict set of criteria. In particular your the broadband speed available to you from current suppliers must be under 2Mbps and there must not be an alternative solution planned to be available with in the next 12 months. There are two simple stages to check this:
- Firstly check that you are not able to access superfast broadband already buy visiting www.gov.uk/gosuperfast
- Next check on the BT checker what you currently available broadband speed is at: www.dslchecker.bt.com
2. Make your application.
If you meet all of the criteria above the next stage is to make your application. You can do this by visiting http://basicbroadbandchecker.culture.gov.uk/ and filling in your postcode. Make sure you enter a valid email address as codes are issued electronically.
3. Book your install and receive fast internet within 28 days!
Once you have made your application your local authority will check to determine your eligibility. Assuming everything goes well you will be emailed a discount code which you then supply to us. We validate this and book your install at the subsidised level.
